ALL PRIVATE LESSONS OFFERED ONLINE ONLY DURING COVID-19 SHUTDOWN.

PHYSICAL STUDIO LOCATION TEMPORARILY CLOSED.

  • The Metropolitan Conservatory is currently accepting new online students.  Use the extended time at home for the best.  Parents, keep your orchestra or band student engaged and practicing at home with fun lessons and community practice challenges.  Adults, use this time to learn to play the instrument you've always dreamed about.

  • When rehearsing at the studio location:

    • Rehearsal will be held on the sidewalk outside as weather permits.   Students will maintain 8 feet of distance between each other.

    • If rehearsal needs to move indoors due to inclement weather, students will maintain 8 feet of distance between each other.

    • Parents please drop off your student(s) to minimize the number of people at the rehearsal.

    • No-Contact temperature checks will be administered upon arrival.

    •  No sharing music stands or music unless it is with a family member you live with.

    •  When you arrive, immediately go to the chair or music stand with your name on it.  Unpack your instrument there and store your case underneath or beside your chair or music stand.

    • Music stands and chairs will be placed eight feet apart.

    •  Tune your instrument as best you can before you arrive.

    •   Masks will be required.

    •   A restroom pass will be available to one person at a time to avoid people congregating indoors.

    •  We will have hand sanitizer onsite and will actively wipe down doors and surfaces.
